Where It All Started…

Women of Color on Broadway started off as one tribute cabaret in New York City to honor the women of African, Latin, and Asian descent who contributed to cultural diversity in musical theatre.

The hour long cabaret goes through the history of Broadway to recognize the singers Anne Brown, Chita Rivera, Audra McDonald, Lea Salonga, and more to say thank you for being the first.

Since the first showcase on June 29th in Don’t Tell Mama, NYC,, we’ve produced this show in venues including Feinstein’s/54 Below, Minton’s Playhouse, and The Great Hall in February 2020.
